Thanks for your patience and support during our world-wide release. We are putting the finishing touches and doing final testing on the next FREE update for Secret Safe! It will be called version 1.1 and includes the following most-asked-for features:
- Encryption (Basic Encryption)
- Password Change
- Font Size Adjustment
- Two safes (one public and one secret)
Your data will automatically be put in the public safe. You will want to immediately go into the new settings panel, and move the data into the secret area. This new secret area is password-protected and encrypted! We hope you will enjoy the free update, and remember to email us if you can think of anything that you think might make your Secret Safe experience even more enjoyable!

Les: A syncing application is planned as a free update within the next 2 months. You will be able to enter data into the desktop (PC and Mac) and sync it with your iPhone (and vice versa). Thanks for the feedback!
not included????

Joe: Sorry, not in this first free update. I assure you we are working on adding this important feature as soon as possible! We’ll let you know on this blog when we have a better idea of when it will be ready. Thanks for the feedback =)

Appreciate the quick response :-)FYI - As I was entering different secrets at one point I could only enter 1 secret before the sreen turned black and booted me back to the main iPhone screen at which point I had to log back into the software so that I could add another secret. That became even more tidious. However, I like alot of the categories available, the detailed fields, and how you can click on a website from a saved secret without having to go and open a browser.

This seems like a great application with good potentials, I love all the available categories. But I’m having some stability issues with this application, often when adding secrets or modifying current once, the Secret Safe screen turns black and dumps me at the iPhone Home screen, are the next free update going to attend to the stability issues?

Anders: Thanks for the kind words. The “Black Screen” issue *is* addressed in this update. It was something that had not happened with the original testers, but after we had someone report it, we got some new testers and were able to reproduce, and *fix* the problem! It has been submitted to Apple and will hopefully be released to the iTunes store sometime soon.

Is the secret “data” such as passwords, bank account details etc stored on the iPhone or remotely? Maybe I have missed something and this might seem a dumb question but I don’t see any notes to clarify that point. Clearly my preference would be for the data to be stored on my iPhone and be backed up during syncing.

Chris: Your data is stored on the phone, in an encrypted way, so there is no way for anyone to get your data unless they have possession of your phone. And even then they would need to know your secret password. Secret Safe has a password strength checker, so if your password is strong it would take them years to guess it. Thanks for your interest!

Is there a way to sort items within a category. Do you have a time frame for the next upgrade. Thanks for a great product.
